I recently posted to say that ATC Models of Hong Kong had done a couple of Silver Seraphs. Nobody seemed very excited by the news (maybe it was old news for Rolls collectors?) but anyway, now I have the models in hand I thought I might as well do an update.
The models arrived quite quickly (must have been sent airmail rather than surface mail, with free shipping) and were securely packed. Unfortunately they sent the convertible in the wrong colour. I ordered it in "rose gold" which they apparently confused with "rose red", so it's the same metallic red as the sedan. Ah well, I have a matching pair.
Here's the Seraph sedan
and this is the Corniche V convertible version.
Both models look accurate, nicely put together, painted and detailed. They made the sedan LHD and the convertible RHD with different dash instruments and different centre consoles on each, which I thought was quite impressive.
Front and rear ends are well detailed (shame about the spelling error on the plates!)
and the wheels and tyres are pretty good.
Shame I didn't get the gold Corniche, it would have made a nice contrast, but never mind.
I wonder if ATC will get around to doing the Wraith, which might be interesting, although I've seen a few around London and it is a bit of a heavy-arsed lump)
or the new all-electric Spectre (3 tonnes, 0-60 in 4 seconds, 0-100 in 8 seconds. Impressive, but not desperately pretty)
And the only other thing missing is the Cullinan estate, but it is an unbelievably clumsy, style-free piece of work and I wouldn't really want a model of it, not even for the sake of completeness.

Congrats Graeme; both are gorgeous. I like the fact that one is LHD and the other opposite. Excellent details on each. Which spelling errors do you refer to - not the license plates???
@perrone1 Look closer. The licence plates all say "Rolls Royec"! The inscribed plates on the model base get it right.

1) Graeme, if you contact them and prove THEY sent YOU the WRONG color, I'll give you 50/50 odds they'll send you the CORRECT one free AND let you keep this "mistake." Trust me! As this point, YOU have nothing to lose. I can tell you're NOT happy. Oh sure, you can "live with it," but why should YOU?
2) I've stood next to a few Spectres; I love the car.
3) I've seen Cullinans too - they look, IMO, much better in person. For some reason, that TALL mid-section appeals to me. I saw a red/white interior monster that really impressed me.
@chris Well, I did wonder about ATC sending a replacement, because in the past they sent a free replacement for a model that arrived with a couple of loose bits.
However, I did e-mail them to point out the mistake, but said that I didn't really mind too much, and the reply was . . .
Hello Mr Graeme Ogg
Sorry, if I had confirmed the color with a photo at that time,
That way, there won't be any misunderstandings or regrets
Thanks for your message
A bit cryptic but I took it to mean "Sorry about the mix-up, but if you're happy, that's OK." We shall see, but actually I am happy enough with it. A free replacement would be a nice bonus, though!

Nice models and an unfortunate mix-up.
The Cullinan is all about the interior, which is gorgeous.
