While the company has gone into resin as well, Schuco continues to produce "diecast" models at a very attractive price point and this is a recent acquisition of mine and frankly am impressed with the quality. It arrived with a small piece of plastic to keep the "gull wings" upright which you can see in these photos but wanted to keep it that way to illustrate the details of the interior. In addition, there is very detailed lettering on the tires, including some of which I can't even read without a magnifying glass.

Great interior detail for this scale. And although there are plenty of these models around in various scales, the color combo of this one is exceptional - LOVE it!

Thanks for the pics Ted.

This is a fine looking model, Ted. I must add it to my collection. That interior is magnificent.

Wow, that is nice!  I've never seen this Schuco  before; I like that tiny clear door clip,  ensuring they never fall down while on display.  😉 😉

Nice looking model. Are there hinges for the gull wing doors?

@ed-davis If I understand your question, Ed, yes, there are hinges in that if I remove the clear plastic "retainer" the doors will close. I hope that helps! Thanks everyone for the comments!

That looks like an excellent model. Not represented in my collection, I'll need to change that.
