I check the Model Car World site now and then to see if there's anything new of interest. The main point of note recently has been the near-absence of anything new from Neo - just re-ssues in new colours.
But I took a look today and they are offering 20% off EVERYTHING, right across the board. They always have a selection of sale items but I've never seen anything like this. They hold a huge selection of models and inevitably some of them will be slow sellers and they need to clear stocks, but it looks like times may be getting hard if such a big outfit is desperate to get stuff out the door.
Of course, it could be that they are clearing the decks for a big influx of exciting new models - but I wouldn't be so sure about that.
A banner on the site seems to imply that this is meant to be a celebration of their 20 years in business and maybe we should believe them, but it still seems suspiciously generous. Cynic that I am.
Of course, even with those reductions I suppose shipping and customs charges mean these deals are not so attractive to folks outside Europe. And of course their U.S. offshoot American Excellence, which might have offered similar deals, is no longer with us.

It‘s their 20th anniversary, hence the 20%.
