expensive cars look good.

The 4 cars are a FM, Vitesse, New Ray and a Solido. All were less than $50 each.

Can you guess the make, model and year of each car?

Great photos and scene! What is the source of your sidewalks?

I think the Buick is a 1950 and the black and yellow Ford is a 1955 or 1956. Great small town diorama.

Hi Ted,

I got them from Scenic Express, they are produced by Bar Mills which produces some great kits, the hardware store pictured is one of their latest. You can purchase them from either of their web sites.

Right dates, though the Ford is 56.

That's a great set up. I love the buildings.

The models are a '54 Pontiac Chieftain (turquoise/white) from Whitebox, a '56 Ford Fairlane (yellow/black) from Vitesse, '50 Chrysler Town & Country (brown/white) from Franklin Mint and a '50 Buick Super (dark blue) from Solido.

Excellent John, you really know your cars. The 1950 Buick was my first 43rd scale car.

These are all superb American small-town views with some excellent automobile models here !

I am also happy to have that great 1954 Pontiac from Whitebox and the Solido 1950 Buick.

The buildings and backgrounds really add to the scene.

Love the small town theme and buildings. I have all of the models shown which are perfect for a fifties setting. Thanks for sharing.

Solido did not get the roof line of the 50 Buick hardtop correct but Provence Moulage corrected this on their transkit shown below along with two versions of the fast back and the woody station wagon and notch back four door sedan. Not faulting Solido as these made great donor cars for the transkits.   I only wish they would do more starting with any 1949-52 Plymouths or Dodges.
