I'm not particularly a fan of the '60 Caddy but these models are awesome; I love the purple and rose versions.
A fine look and summary of all three of these Stamp 1/43 replicas and Cadillac automobiles. Each one looks amazing and the details are remarkable.
John, another great presentation. Love the history lesson. Stamp hit it out of the park with these 3 stunning offerings.

Me neither - I much prefer the '59's - however, I'm VERY glad to see '60's in scale form and this Stamp looks pretty good. Nice vid John. 😎
They look awesome, John. I agree with your comments about the quality of Stamp finishes. They are truly amazing. My LE 1960 Series 62 convertible in green is just one example of Stamp really at the top of their game.
Personally, I prefer the 60 Cadillacs to the 59's. I know the 59's are iconic but they're just too over the top for me.
@whodeytink Mark I also prefer the 60 over the 59. I received the Heather about two weeks ago and it is marvelous. Never have I received a Stamp/GLM model that wasn't any thing but a shrunken image of the 1/1.
My favorite is the Persian Sand. It seems to be already sold out. I have one on the way. It will be a nice companion to the 1959 Eldorado Brougham Pininfarina.
Got Persian Sand and York Blue yesterday. Managed to shoot the Persian Sand. I noticed that Stamp gradually moves from using photoetched parts to painted chrome.
Fins have painted chrome. I can't remember whether Stamp's 1960 Series 62 convertibles and Series 75 Fleetwood had painted or PE chrome on fins, got to check it out.
And yes, the Cadillac name is missing from the plaque (just 1960 Eldorado Seville).
They are beautiful. However, the trim is not painted on. Stamp is using a heat-bonded metallic trim that may not be quite as bright as chrome, but is far more durable than photo-etch and more easily scaled to 1/43. It will never pull away or get snagged on something. I think it looks great.

Really? 🤔 🤔 🤔
@chris, yes. They provided a lengthy, detailed explanation of it a while ago. It was posted on this forum. It's an effort to get away from photo etch and offer something more durable.

I think they can do this process only on large scale models. I may be wrong. Chrome foil is still used on the most recent Matrix models and there is no issue at all. Goldvarg still use chrome foil and I never had a problem.@chris, yes. They provided a lengthy, detailed explanation of it a while ago. It was posted on this forum.
