Although cars after 1972 are not generally my area of collector interest, I must say that this Monte Carlo and the Chrysler Cordoba/Charger are two big exceptions. IMHO both cars were exceptions to what JK refers to as The Malaise Era; they were sporty, classy and stylish. I bought the Cordoba and will very likely buy this Monte as well.
Just sprung for the blue version JK. I had been struggling about color selection but your clip solved the issue. Thanks!
I like the blue the best. But that Lime Green is so typical of the era.

I got all three, I was going to pass on the blue one - only preordered the other 2. When they came out, the blue looked to good to pass on it.

I'm not a fan of the Monte Carlo after the first generation but I have to admit this is gorgeous model and it even has me thinking of buying one.
Great review, John.
@jkuvakas That shade of green certainly gets a persons attention but it's not for me. I do really like the white interior though!
@jack-dodds, I agree. But, it was fairly common in 1976, on several GM makes. I remember my dad falling in love with a '76 Buick Park Avenue Coupe in the same color combo. Mom wouldn't let him buy it!

Fine reviews, John, and what an attractive Monte Carlo car !
