David, you have an amazing knack of finding photos of 1:1 cars for which you have models of, or is it the opposite, you find models of cars in photos?

Karl, I remember those nice color charts VW made available. Even Volkswagens printed brochures were quality pieces just like the cars they promoted.
And I guess, John, it’s just fun to search for pictures of cars of which I have models. In retirement it’s nice to have some mindless things to do. I’ve been a VW enthusiast. I think since I was about 8 snd saw a dark blue split window Beetle somebody had brought back from Germany.

Love the comparison photos David. The commercial, done in true VW style back in the day, is terrific and fun.

@mg-harv Those are very nice - I only have 1 or 2 1/40 Wikings! But your 2 are going straight to HDB!
