This very nice replica of the 1968 Buick Skylark GS400 was done by Greenlight. As usual, they did a really good job on this one and it displays exceptionally well.

Nice looking Buick.  I don't have that one.  I do have a blue 69 Buick.  I like the backgrounds in your photos.

Actually, Greenlight took some liberties here.  Buick Skylarks all had vent windows in 1968 (last year ) but Mike's has none.  Greenlight did release these mostly as 1969 models.  But a few were issued as stock '68s while many others, noted as '68s, were painted wildly & labeled "custom,"  I assume to explain the missing vent windows.

Years ago, I had a 1:1 1968 Buick Skylark convertible.  When these 1/64 GLs came out, I was tempted to replicate that car because, as Mike noted, they do look pretty good.

Have this and a convertible. Chris is exactly right that the 68 Skylark had vent windows and the 69 did not. I bought a 69 GS 400 new and the quality control was practically non existent.

That's unfortunate to hear.  I didn't have my '68 'vert long, and I bought it used, but it was very reliable. I do recall, however, the rear U-joint breaking one summer night....gee, I think it was that car.... 🤔 🤔 🤔
