I'm working on migrating Dropbox files, and ran into these photos from October 2014. I prettied them up a bit with modern technology, and I'm sharing them with you.

Very nice ! That is a beautiful car and color. I like it's perhaps over-the-top looks. I have a 1958 Cadillac in 1/18 and 1/64. I also had one in 1/32 but intergranular corrosion mostly took that one.
A beautiful car. I really have become very fond of the '58 styling - the '59 will always be my favorite, but the '58 comes in 2nd.

A girl I dated in high school, father, had a new 58 convertible in turquoise with a white leather interior. I can still that car n my mind these 68 years later.
My favorite 50's Caddy, it's beautiful Ed, I do have it in this color in 1/24, although it has a black interior. 😊
I did think 'loaded' had both of the meanings; drunk and rich.

It did. I chose rich and it called that wrong. Said Drunk was the correct answer. I protest!! HA!
I forget the other one I got wrong.
Oops, Ed, you must have meant for this to be on the thread from John Bono.Â
I have a few 1:43 1958 Cadillac's in my collection because they bring back memories. Scale models include a 1957 convertible and especially a 1957 Fleetwood 60 Special.
It must have been sometime in early 1959, Mom divorced and we moved to San Francisco. Mom had a group of girlfriends, divorced ladies who lunched once a week. One of those ladies was across the bridge and had a 1958 Fleetwood 60 Special, white w/black & white interior. One day the lady with the white Cadillac, her hill-side home started to slide. The ladies who lunched, and their children, gathered to remove clothing out of the house as the house made a slow movement downhill. I was only about eight years old at this time but I remember moving loads of clothing from the house to waiting cars, including Moms 1955 Starfire convertible. Little me I was just throwing cloths into the ladies Cadillac and my Moms convertible as the house creaked. Running back and forth in a panic, perhaps I now remember because of the the panic. The house did slide down the hill and I remember playing in the the backyard, before there was no back yard.
I remember distinctly, laying across the garments in the back seat of that Starfire convertible with my little body, holding down all the clothing so it would not blow away as Mom seldom put the top up on her convertible's. I remember crossing the bridge, looking up at the top of the bridge. That day, and that ladies 1958 white 60 Special Cadillac, will hopefully always remain in my memory.
@100ford2003 Hi Steve, I haven't worked on it lately. I did get some of the wet sanding done. I've just had other stuff going on. I'm hoping to get back on it soon. 😊
