Great job with the conversion to a 4-door, but when all is said and done I much prefer the coupe.

Very interesting, all except the four-door Mk II. For some reason that car does not lend itself to anything different than its original design concept.
@perrone1 I agree Tony. Plus, there's something about rear passengers having to access through the front door and tilted seat, on a luxury automobile, that is in keeping with the modern, unpretentious aspirations of the day. Burt Bacharach would somehow sound less breezy in a four door version of this car.
Mom had a 70 Lincoln Mark III and when we got it, it was a dream to drive in. This was her first of many Mark's over the years and when I got around to buying new cars, I picked up 2 different Mark VII's one a base model in gold and then a Signature Series Bill Blas in Dark Green. Loved both of them. Wish I still had one today.
