Interesting that in 1957 Ford produced a blown 312ci engine in NASCAR tune that was rated at 340 HP. This 429ci monster is rated at 375 HP. The 70s were not a great time to be a car person.
I agree; especially after 1972 styling, performance and quality control went south.
