There were a few surprises for me in this Stories That Matter presentation. I hope that you found it interesting.
Very interesting!
I'm wondering how true it is if one sits for 11 hours that they will die within three years. I hope not. There are lots of wheelchair bound persons who are not able to stand up.
And the part about people noticing shoes . . . That may be a throwback from earlier times. I do notice nice shoes, but people mostly wear tennis shoes these days and, to me, they all look pretty much the same.
Hi Frank.
I questioned the one about sitting too. Certainly handicapped people have to adapt and don't die. I suspect this is aimed at seniors who become very sedentary.
My wife claims the shoe one is true. A anyway, food for thought.

Becoming sedimentary would make for a rocky relationship with the missus IMO.
Frank; I've just been retired for 2 months, but I'll let you know about the sitting thing. Does getting beer out of the fridge help mitigate this problem?

Yes, but only if it is every hour!

Absolutely. And going to the store to buy it counts as a work out.

Great! I'll just grab the car keys and be off.
