Another vote for the beautiful 1965 Impala SS. I'd ask what it sold for, but it would likely leave me disappointed I couldn't justify the expense.

@jack-dodds That's one reason I love my DM '65 GTO in the Iris Mist with the parchment interior. Simply gorgeous. 😊

Ed, information only, don't want to disappoint you. It sold for $77K, but it had a 409 with a 4-speed. A black '65 Impala SS with a 327 and automatic sold for $39K.

Thanks for the pictures. My younger brother lived in Phoenix and used to send my pictures from the Barret Jackson. He passed away in 2019. I and another brother used to go to the KC Mecum auctions. We just went to look and I took pictures of cars we liked,
Years ago Mecum was here in Anaheim so my youngest brother and I went to look. We had a great time. 👍

At the very least I knew it was over my meager budget. 😉
