Ted Weller called my attention to this high-gloss magazine, "Crankshaft." Take a look at what they offer. Click here.

I've been aware of this magazine for the last few years since the first issue. It is published by Richard Lentinello who was the former editor of Hemmings Collector Car magazine. After some management changes at Collector Car, Richard was gone and started his own magazine, which is a quality work of art in every respect. It's worth checking out.

Wow. What a quality product that I don't recall seeing before. When Collector Car magazine ceased publication, I didn't replace it as I was subscribing to more publications than I had time to read. Thanks for the heads up Ted and John.
While the subject of car magazines surfaced again here, I think it's also time for me to once again share my support for what I personally consider "the BEST" auto mag published.
It's "COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE".
For the past 42 years with 6 issues published a year, it is printed on heavy gloss paper and in 100% color. The stories/articles/photos are researched and written by the most knowledgeable historians in the industry. From issue #1 to the present, I have every issue in my collection and always look forward to the next one.
Finally, and this is huge, no edition of "COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE" ever includes any advertising!!! NO ADVERTISING! That alone makes it worth my money. I've had a subscription since the very beginning and get this, "each issue arrives in a protective wrapping" that protects it through the mail and gives me a pristine perfect condition copy!
If you've not checked out "COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE", make it your New Years resolution to do so. You won't be sorry!

I agree George, if it is American Collector Cars that you follow, there is nothing better currently. Two others that I love with a more international view are The Automobile, published monthly and now in its 43rd year and Magneto, the most current that I have is #25, likely one of the most expensive car magazines currently available. I sure wish Automobile Quarterly was still published.

Hmm.... Who knew? Thanks John, George.
The last magazine I purchased was in May, 2019 (I was in it ). Prior to that, it had been years..... but I still have newspapers delivered and pay for a landline. I do have electric light & indoor plumbing, however. 😉
I have every issue also, lined up on the floor of my toy room. Don't forget those slip cases too!

THANKS for the reminder of the Slip Cases (bought at extra cost of course, but well worth it) that protect each Volume of Six issues. And yes, I see that you have them all. In my opinion, COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE magazine has been the most consistent and reliable authority on our beloved old cars. Each issue is a "collectible" itself.

Collectible Automobile is fantastic, definitely the best. My only issue is I now have too many...issues!
