How many "trick or treaters" came to your door last night? We had a grand total of 6. For us it's an all-time low.

About 40. Several years ago it was as many as 70 or more!! They used to bring them into the community on horse-drawn hay wagons. But as the neighborhood gets a little older, some of our neighbor's kids grew up and moved out. I still spend way too much on treats but it is no where near what it used to be. We love seeing the littlest ones in all kinds of costumes. And while I do not eat sweets of any form, my wife LOVES the excess candy! HA!
I helped out at the old family house where my younger sister's family lives now. The trick or treat is limited the 3 pm to 7 pm but on this clear and cold day, there were a good number of small ghosts and goblins and princesses and movie characters.
Sometimes the trick or treaters weren't quite so young as they generally hand out pretty good and substantial goodies around here !
We had none...again. Our neighborhood has no sidewalks and long driveways and is not popular on Oct 31. Still, Kelly and I have on hand an assortment of full-size candy bars in case anyone shows up. We donate them to the local shelter after Halloween.

for the 4th year in a row, 0 at home. My store, however, had a ton. We ran out of candy and had to get some more.

Candy NEVER goes to waste as long as I am around, lol !
35 this year despite the first snow storm of the year (about 6 inches from 5 pm to 7pm).
I was expecting far less.
