While the Studabaker is interesting and unusual, I much prefer the 51 Chevy.

I grew up in a 1951 Chevy, albeit a much less fancy one. I can't be objective, so I voted for it. It is beautiful though, so there is some rationale to my vote.

The Studebaker might be more unique looking on a 1/43 display shelf, but as a 1:1, I think the Chevy is the better car.

I might pick the Studie against most any other convertible of that era save for one thing. That's the near identical 1951 Chevy that Steve McQueen drove in his last movie, "The Hunter" (1980), portraying Ralph 'Papa' Thorson, the bounty hunter. Just watched the DVD, yet again, last week.

He actually bought the car, after filming ended in 1979, to keep in his collection.

CHEVROLET as loud as I can yell it!  I like the Studebaker for the oddity and uniqueness it brings to automotive history, but would never pick it over the Chevy or any other car for that matter.
