Ah yes!! Beautiful picture! Wonderful photo! The shot is SO alive it almost looks like a photo of perfect scale model cars.

(Usually we say the opposite but this shot is to-die-for-great!)

@geoff-jowett  It's a good diorama; at first glance, it fools everyone.   There's no substitute for natural light, period!

I wish I could provide additional info., but I have nothing....  😔 😔 😔     It's simply a pic I saw on FB and thought it worthy of sharing.    I'm glad so many seem to like it.   😎 😎 😎

@100ford2003 Thanks Steve - I'm not sure about that.     I've taken thousands of pics, but ONLY a few are "close"  to being perceived as "real."

Very nice. It looks like some of Anthony Schmidt's work.

  1. That is a great photo. The model cars look real as does the building. The homes in the back ground add to the effect too.

thanks John, I remember someone posting his details here ages ago. Definately worth another look.

My thought too was the late Michael Paul Smith and his 1/24 masterpiece photos. I have his book around here somewhere, I'll dig it out over the Christmas break.

And Chris this shot is up there with the best of them
