....it's only a 5-minute video but this modeler found a new (new to me ) approach to creating an authentic look to vintage AWB cars - pretty cool IMO. 😎 😎 😎 His 1/25 models look fantastic.
Easy peezy, lemon squeezy. Flatten the two rear tires and ya got it. NICE models by the way! How could you duplicate this with diecast cars? Weights????
Love the video...this guy is good!

I'm not certain weights alone would do it; the "key" appears to be those flat spots on the drag slicks. The question now becomes...... Do I want to "shave" a few tires on any of my AWB cars? 🤔 🤨 🤔
But man-0-man, that sure is a cool look, right? 😎 😎 😎
Not only is the clever wheelstand solution super cool, but the modeling is top-notch, too! The man is a serious talent!
@perrone1 - As we know, diecast cars are heavy, so the counterbalance weight would have to be significant. Further, since most diecast have functional trunk areas, that feature would have to be sacrificed. Perhaps a "Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal" lean mechanism would be more desirable.
LOL! I was mesmerized by Michael's lean since the first time he did it. And found out about it as soon as it was divulged. THAT and every bit of his dance steps were, still are, and always will be INCREDIBLE.
Like him or hate him, to me, he was fantastic!
@perrone1 ....right! Say what you want about MJ, but he truly was the KING of pop - no one ever did it better! There's not enough "Os" in smooth, right? 😎 😎
Steve Magnante is more than just a modeler….he knows cars inside-out. He’s been on many car shows & had a few shows of his own…he’s also a regular on the Barrett-Jackson auto auctions…
