I am new to this forum so sadly am not aware who this is.
I've not heard anything Chris. It has been awhile.🤔
I hope he is okay. He occasionally takes a hiatus from posting but this one seems longer than those of the past.

Agreed - his post history revealed that he's been MIA for 6 months. 😟 😟 😟
He posted a while back that he was stepping away because someone here (unidentified) had some kind of "vendetta" against him and continually criticized his posts, and he didn't want to put up with it.

George always had something interesting to say. I do miss him. Hopefully he is absent by choice and not because of criticism. He could occasionally, like many of us, be a little controversial.

That’s what I remember too.

I wonder if George is still taking his morning walks to Mcdonalds to get coffee?

I stay in touch with George and talk to him from time to time. He's doing well, just celebrated another birthday last month. He told me that he won't be back posting on the Forums, which is unfortunate. I enjoyed his Coffee Talk segments and his insight on cars in general.
And yes Steve, I heard it from the horse's mouth that he is still taking his morning walks to get coffee at the local McDonalds!

THANK YOU for this update, Pete. 😉 ...and yes, that's too bad; he will be missed.
I can't imagine anyone here insulting him or his posts so severely as to warrant total withdrawal from all Forum activity but apparently, that's what transpired. 😬 😳 😬 😳
That's a bummer. I enjoyed George's posts. Pete, maybe you could get him to reconsider. Let him know we were asking about him and please tell him I said hello if you don't mind. Thanks.😊
I agree with everyone else here. I miss his great articles that he had published and talked about along with his insights on the diecast market.
