Very interesting and well narrated.  The 1962 Plymouth 2drht. concept car (actual finished car) shown in the clip at 5:00 would have been a successful seller IMHO.  It is much better looking and larger than the actual car made.

Whenever I see a close up of the grille on a '61 Plymouth I am reminded of how John Roberts once described it.  "The grille looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp".  Lol.

Interesting video & I will say they definitely had some ugly concepts & bad designs, but so did GM, Ford & all the other “orphans” no longer with us…

Great video but certainly an ugly period for Chrysler.

Jeez...I dunno Terry.  I have always thought the various 1961-62 GMs, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, and even Rambler and Studebaker cars all looked pretty darned nice.  One mans opinion.....

Liked the older Chrysler Corp car designs/styling until 1957, hated the fins. but in the last 30 years I have come to like them better than GMC in my opinion. '60 to '64 always hated the looks of most of them [loved the '62 Chrysler 300]. '65 I fell in love with them, especially the mid-size.  Dislike most cars after '72.

@jack-dodds - I wasn’t specifying the ‘61-‘62 model years (which were among Chrysler’s worst designs) in my comment…just that all carmakers have had blunders in their designs at some point…IMHO, think ‘57 Hudson, ‘58 Lincoln, ‘59 Caddy…

I agree Chrysler's worst '61 to '64, BUT '61 to '64 are FoMoCo & GMC's best Design/Styling in my opinion.

Enjoyed the video.  I've always thought the early 60s Chrysler products were weird - except for the Valiant, which I really liked and still appreciate.
