I came across this 1964 Falcon Futura about three years ago, sitting in a driveway without its rear bumper and rear trim panel. It is equipped with the optional 260 CID V8, and you can see an aftermarket tachometer screwed to the dash. At some point the wheels were changed out to the 1968-69 Mustang/Torino 12-slot styled-steel wheels. Not long ago I was driving by, and the owner was in the garage. I asked about the Falcon, and he said it got put on the back burner as another project took priority. However, he intends to get back to it in the near future.

My first car was a 1964 Falcon 4 door with a six.It was all I could afford. I bought it in 1969 to get me to university. It was previously owned by the "proverbial" old lady who only drove it to church every Sunday. Unfortunately, I quickly drove it into the ground and got rid of it 3 years later. If I recall correctly, the first 1964 1/2 Mustangs were built on a Falcon frame.

Might be a worthwhile project if he doesn't go too deep into a full restoration. It could be a nice car when done.

It appears that the yard is trimmed so maybe the car has a chance
