This 1956 Packard (identified as a Patrician by its side trim, hood emblem, and sedan style body) has been sitting in this driveway for over three years. It looks pretty good, although it’s missing some left front fender trim. I wish I understood the reasoning behind leaving it out in the elements unprotected.
And in desirable convertible form. Several months - maybe. But three years? NUTS!
The '56 Patrician was the last of the senior level Packard sedans...so said to see it waste away like this. Great series Pete.

Thanks Pete. I don't believe we will ever know why a car like this is left outside to rot away but then we are car guys. I'm sure the reasons are many but that doesn't lesson the hurt.
I'm really enjoying these pics, Pete. And I may move to your neighborhood just to wander the streets!
