I was away for several days and just saw your comments regarding this car.

Prior to the edit:

D4C What If Concept

With downsized wheels and a slimmer front bumper:

D4C What If Concept Jackman

The edit took a bit more work than I believed it would but the results are more pleasing to my eye!

What do you think?

Enjoy!

Hello. Mr Grumpy here. Just a personal thing but I don't much care for cars with that "squashed down" custom look. And I just hate over-sized "bling" wheels. So here goes . . .

Narrowed, smaller wheels

OK, so I've screwed up the original point of the whole thing. But I know which one I'd rather have!

@graeme-ogg

I like yours too Graeme. I'm someplace in the middle between the one, of Terry's, that I chose, and yours. I'm a minimalist-squashed-sort-of-guy.

You and Terry and the other fellas who do this so well, are super impressive!

@graeme-ogg: I find your edits interesting and like the 'unsquashed' body/top portion but am somewhat at odds with the whitewalls and narrow tires. You've also got the car sitting way too high, in my opinion. I'd be interested in seeing your edit with wider tires and lower stance. Maybe without the whitewall tires, as well?  You do have some editing talent and I enjoy your submissions. Thanks for doing them.

Well, I thought my relatively high-riding stance looked about right for a European-style sport coupé, which is what I thought my narrowed version looked like.

But since you made the point, I thought I would go back in and try a lower stance with non-whitewalls. (Anything to oblige). Unfortunately, in my haste I opened the original "squashed" image (instead of the narrowed version) and added two styles of new wheels to that. I also inserted a shallower version of the original bumper, which I quite liked.

Blue concept car lowered

So, a bit of a mongrel, and not what I intended, but I'm b******d if I'm going to start all over again at this time of night. Time for my evening brandy and cigar.

Over to you, sir.

@graeme-ogg: Nicely done, sir! I very much like the version with the rally wheels and slimmed original bumper. Enjoy your treats.
