The '70 mid-size Plymouth body style, combined with the excellent Mopar mechanicals, beats all competition!

If the Roadrunner did NOT have the vinyl roof, I'd vote tie or maybe for the Plymouth. But as they are, I love the Chevelle for 70, hence my vote.
I voted a tie. I like the 1970 body shape a lot. I thought the road runner was a great car. Even though vinyl roofs were popular, I would not have put one on a road runner. Cousin had a dark green one and it was the best.
I do dig both of these bada$$ rides, but it's gotta be the Roadrunner for me. 💯👍
Chevelle by a slight margin.

A little harder today, as I like both. But the Chevelle roof-line wins out for me. However, get rid of the "white" stripes on the hood and make them "red" if it's going to be a "black" car.

Both are fun cars to drive but for daily use, I’d prefer the Chevelle SS. Had that engine in my 1976 Caprice Estate. Loved it despite the horrible gas mileage.
When I saw the headline, I knew exactly which 2 they were going to be without even opening the pictures. Love both cars, but I am a Mopar fan, so my vote goes to the Plymouth.
Very tough decision as both are premier muscle cars. Based strictly on build quality which includes interiors and body components, the Chevelle wins by the smallest of margins.
@bob-jackman Once again we agree Bob and I will throw in that I love the decal application and aggressive stance of the Chevelle. Very close to a tie but I would prefer the Chevelle in my driveway.
My vote goes to the Chevrolet, but I like the RR too.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
