It's a presentation that's both staggering AND overwhelming.    And again, I ask, "Where's the gift shop?"      😊 😊 😉

Outstanding Bob. I really enjoyed this wonderful presentation. What a marvellous display of models. I will look for your other videos.

I wish my collection was so well organized. I can understand why they are mainly in scale but otherwise mixed. I am just in the middle reorganizing one room of models, a daunting task.

At the end of the video sums it up "car guys just love cars".  What i take from these videos is that Bob has memories of each of his models and that is special.

I am a retired interior designer and all my models are displayed in my master bedroom & home office (no other space available).  To my trained eye, nothing in Bob's  home looks cluttered, every collectable display is so well thought out, organized, a lot to see but not cluttered.  I have 45 years experience as an Interior Designer, mostly upscale & sometimes dealing with private million dollar art collections.  Bob & his wife have put together a home around a unique massive collection that is cohesive & tasteful.

Have to ask Bob & his wife:  How do you keep everything spotless clean?  There is not a fingerprint on any acrylic display case and no visible dust on any of your displays not under covers.  Speaking of the acrylic display cases I can understand why you might have invested in a company that makes them.  I have moved so many times in my life, every time some things get broken.  Last move from Canada to the USA I didn't unpack all my diecast six-car display cases for a year, too late to file a claim.  When I lived in Canada, ordered twelve, six car cases from a company in the US, fit perfectly in my bookcases.  Three were broken in my last move, previous company out of business, finally found a single owner of acrylic display company that could custom make duplicate broken display cases, forty miles from my home. I am a little annal, all the cases had to match my existing.  The man did a beautiful job, $180.00 for each case I was happy.  When I see all of Bob's display cases I hyperventilate.

Last note:  Bob, I swoon every time I see your 1963 Bird convertible.  I see your car and my heart beats faster.  My first car at age 16 (1967), was my parents 1963 Bird, the car I also took my drivers test in.  In my old age my hobby car is a 1966 T-Bird convertible.  My heart will always be with the 1963 T-Bird convertible.

Not meaningful, in one view of this video I saw a Trump sticker near a door.  In the 1980s, at a NYC  design firm, I was the senior designer and project coordinator for a Trump casino hotel and an 'off the book' private Trump resident.  Yes, expenses for a private residence was charged to the Casino construction.  I was hired by this design firm because my past experience indicated I could not be intimidated by the rich & my primary client would be Trump.  Dealing with his first wife, Ivana, made the experience bearable.   Never intimidated by Donald, would have been nice if he paid his bills on time.   During my long career I had some wealthy clients that were wonderful to work with.  I also had a few clients who just felt privileged, entitled.

Bob, tell your wife this retired Interior Designer thanks your home is extremely well done, A+

@abaucom Thank you for your kind words. Fortunately the video doesn't show the dust. Lori and I have a regimen of vacuuming and dusting. Because of the extensive collections, her miniature dioramas, and my cars, we don't feel comfortable having help not because of dishonesty but rather because most, outside of fellow collectors, wouldn't think the cars are anything  but toys. A prime motivation to our cleaning rituals is because about three to four times a year various car clubs come to tour the collections which we enjoy. Bottom line, it doesn't do any good to collect if no one wants to see the collections

Mr. Jackman, I've always been in awe of your collection. There are just not words to describe your passion!  And the fact that you have them all displayed everywhere in your home is mindboggling.  All of the rest of us can only fantasize of having a collection like yours.  God bless you sir!  You are a super-hero!
