I loved this movie and chase scene but was sickened by the destruction of that gorgeous black '68 Charger. I was always amazed at how fast that little green VW Beetle was though; it was constantly leap frogging ahead of both the Charger and the Mustang.....it appears a number of times. Lol.

Yep, like three times. Supposed to be a repeated sequence where you see the chase from different vantage points but it comes across the way you mention it!
