Still have to go with the Caddy although the Lincoln is pretty cool too. 👀

I like the Lincoln. It's smaller and has cleaner styling.

+1 here.
A difficult choice...the Lincoln is considerably smaller and well styled while the Cadillac is pure luxury and a boat. I like boats so the Caddy wins this one by a hair,
Cadillac for the easy win IMHO. I always liked this era of Cadillac styling in spite of it being somewhat bulbous. The nose of the Lincoln looks so plain it seems almost unfinished.
I gave the nod to the Caddy. Drive down the street and everyone knows you're driving a Cadillac. Do the same with Lincoln and people may think it's a Ford. Don't get me wrong, I, personally like both nearly equally; but he Cad wins by a bulbous nose.
Cadillac was looking old and bulbous in '52. While the Lincoln looks lower, newer, and sleeker. LINCOLN for me!

The Cadillac allowed its owner to display their wealth and status - and their lack of appreciation for refined good taste. The Lincoln may have been more modest but is a much more subtle and refined piece of work, in a quiet sort of way. Gets my vote, anyway.

Sorry Cadillac. You look too fat and overweight for my taste. Lincoln, please John.
The Lincoln is just a Ford. Way back when we had a '56 Ford Fairlane and a neighbor had a gorgeous '56 Lincoln Premiere. Sadly the Lincoln had the same feel and sound as our '56 Fairlane. Cadillac all the way...if you got it flaunt it, unless you're part of the witness protection program. Why spend a lot of bucks just to blend in with the rest of the crowd.

Graeme; you may not think that about the Caddy if your "initial tryst" had been in the rear of one instead of that 1100.
