Apparently, this 1975 Vega survived remarkably well - unlike that Tulsa '57 Plymouth ("Miss Belvedere" )    But of course, this story is more than that....

Yes, did see this when they opened it up. It fared well. That Plymouth was a wet mess.

That was cool to see that everything was able to withstand through time.

They obviously did a great job sealing the contents of this time capsule.

The only surviving Vega because it wasn't driven.

HA!    I can't argue that, Bob!     As I've noted before...  the last time I drove a stick, was in the early 1980's.    I borrowed my friend's yellow Vega coupe - just like this one - to buy a pack of cigarettes.     Despite being only 5 or 6 years old, the Vega was a bit janky!

My first reaction to this story was "why would they have picked a VEGA??"  It's not even the GT for pity's sake.  Lol.

@jack-dodds The dealer probably donated the car because he couldn't sell it.

Wow!   Lots of Vega bashing going on.     Well, the car could've been something really special, but...    😔 😔

@jack-dodds Pretty schweet!    I didn't know there was ever a Yenko  Vega; I always thought that Cosworth  job was top dog.
