well, I do and that just makes me so grateful to have them I could just cry
With the predominance of mine being in the 1:24th scale, and seeing very little new model issues I do not rearrange. With any new 1:43rd, I just find room for the newbies.
....only if I need room for additional models. 😉
Most no but select groups periodically.
Occasionally, when I get a new car and realize I could group it with others in my collection, I do some rearranging.
Generally once a year I'll mix it up.😁
I just did a minor rearranging of my 1/43 models but more looms as the models flood in.
I don't rearrange them on any particular schedule, but at times when I'm relaxing in my car room, I do. I'll notice two cars that my eyes decide would look better together and I will make the attempt to move them. Then, in order to move those two cars, I've got to move six others to get to the two I want to get move, and it turns to a production. Obviously frustrating, but absolutely the most FUN "frustrating" I can do. Now all this said, I do DUST my shelves and the cases my cars are in on a weekly basis, so that too, sometimes constitutes a little rearranging. All in all, I do pay a lot of attention to my cars realizing every day that I love them!

I usually rearrange when something new arrives. Right now I definitely need another wall case. Things are getting a bit crowded around here!
Occasionally I also will rearrange models, usually in the display case over my desk. That's where a new model usually goes. Then I have to find a new location for the displaced model. At this stage of my collecting, that happens only once or twice a year.
I moved from Canada to the USA 3-1/2 years ago. A few of my diecast display cases were damaged during the move. It has taken me some time to find a vendor to custom make my display cases to match all my other display cases. Today, just got word my replacement display cases are finished and I am excited. Finally, after more than three years I can finish putting all my diecast cars on display. I group my cars based on brand (T-Birds, Cadillacs, etc.) and some based on years of body styles (Chey's, Corvettes, etc.). Now that I will have my new / replaced display cases, it is going to take me awhile to group my car collection. I am just thrilled, finally I will get all my diecast cars displayed.
All mine are grouped by diecast maker, then I start at the lowest year to the highest year in alphabetical order. So I only move them around if I purchase something that I do not currently have to get it in it's proper location.
