Nor have I.

That would be GAUCHE and could get you berated by the restaurant chef!
Nor mayo or mustard. A good quality tenderloin filet (Filet Mignon) should have nothing more than a touch of salt and/or pepper. A lesser quality steak may need a dab of steak sauce such as A-1 or Heinz 57. Prime rib does well with au jus and/or horseradish sauce.
Hamburgers - Mayo?????
Now a piece of London Broil goes well with Ketchup!
I've never done that either. A very lite brush of Worcestershire sauce is tasty though.💯😊
Sorry, guys I'd be the "one". I haven't eaten steak in over a decade, but when I did, if it didn't have Ketchup on it, I couldn't eat it. It's like not putting Mustard on a Hog Dog. But as the saying goes, "to each their own".

Fair to good steak requires nothing, bad stake requires either ketchup or the Dog.
....true, I've never done that, but I do recall once asking for A-1 sauce at a very nice, upscale restaurant and the waiter was "disgusted" by my request. He treated me "accordingly" for the rest of the evening. 🤨
@georgeschire To eat a hot dog without mustard and relish is just criminal!
Agreed. But it has to be "Dill" relish, not "Sweet" relish. There is a major difference in taste.

Another dumb thing would be to come to Chicago and ask for ketchup on a hotdog.
