I’ve got to go Chevy on this one even though Ford outsold them this model year. The Plymouth is sleeker and a great looking car, though I prefer the Fury’s trim.

Some all-time classic from back then. What great automobiles to cruise around in back then (or now) !

Ford styling and 2-tone color application/trim separation presents really well so it gets the nod by a slim margin over Chevy.  The Plymouth is a distant third.

I went with the Ford.  One thing that always bothered me about the '57 Ford is the front end. This is just conjecture on my part, but it almost appears that the car was designed to have quad headlights because of the large, hooded areas over the big single beam headlamp bezels.  Knowing that quad headlamps weren't approved in all 48 states at the time of new car introduction, they played it safe and implemented Plan B with dual headlamps for production.  Possible??

I have been a fan of the Ford since I was a kid.  My grandfather had a four door and later a station wagon that we borrowed several times to go camping in.  2nd place is a tie between the Chevy and Plymouth.

Since I had one, the '57 Fairlane 500 gets my vote. Chevy next, then Plymouth.

I voted tie.  I will always vote for Christine. My dad had a blue 58. He always regretted trading it in. The Chevy is naturally iconic although I like the 56 and 58 a little better.  The ford was a big seller and the convertible hardtop was an engineering feet.

Chevrolet, Ford then Plymouth. My father had the Bel Air. Never cared for the front end treatment of the Ford but it was popular at the time. The Plymouth had assembly issues, I recall.

Ford, Plymouth, Chevy. The Ford looks terrific to me.

I have no interest in any of the 3 pictured today. None of them are good looking.

Ford, Plymouth, and Chevy last. The '57 Ford has ALWAYS been my favorite 50's Ford. I love the forward look of the Plymouth as well. I know people go ga-ga over the '57 Chevy, I have a few in my collection,  but never really thought they were anything special.🤷‍♂️

The clean look of the Ford wins for me. The cluttered look of the Chevy is second and the finned Plymouth takes third.

'57 I like the front end & dash of  the Chevy, if they put the '55 rear clip & side trim on it, it would have been perfect.

'57 Ford front left me cold, put the '58 front clip & side trim on it and a car I liked would appear.

Disliked Plymouth '57 to '63, they seemed cheaply made compared Chevy & Ford  & Dodge. Just my impression of Plymouth, that's why I bought Dodge.

@georgeschire, we are a republic. That concept was instituted by the founding fathers to ensure the central government didn't have too much power, as various European models at the time portrayed.

Our unity was put on display when the states that did not allow quad headlights recognized the legality of those that did. It was a matter of respect, not homogenization.
