I might be in the minority, but I've always liked the styling "Front and Back" of the 1958 OLDSMOBILE.
Here are a couple of photos I took a few years back at one of our local car shows. And oh yea, I like the whole car, as it was a chrome machine for sure and a sign of the times, when glitz, fins, and bigger was better. The '58 Olds had it all.

King of chrome for sure.

"That is what makes the world go round" as they say; who is they? And would the world really stop if we all liked the same styling/design?
@georgeschire Somebody has to like it George. It can't be me so I'm glad it's you. Lol. Variety is healthy for our hobby....I'll say it again.
I love the 1958 Oldsmobile and all of the "GM Five for Fifty-Eight". At one time it appeared that Precision Miniatures was planning on doing one of these giant beauties in 1/18th scale, but that sadly didn't happen.
These big Olds would look great in any scale and it would make a natural for SunStar's Platinum Series, if that company were still actively tooling new 1/18ths.
@mikedetorrice, If Sunstar were to produce one, they'd get my money.

George, They would get my money too even though the 58 is not one of my favorites. Many people only buy models of the cars they like in 1/1 but not me. I want my collection to represent as many different models as possible.
@bob-jackman I agree Bob; I don't like the 58 Olds and Buick but I have them in my 1:43 collection for what they represent.
