My first car was a 1979 Chevy Malibu 4-door.

Grey with a small red pinstripe and a red interior.

Here it is, parked in front of my parent's house.

I am still waiting for a model of it, no luck so far.

In May 1978 I bought a brand new Malibu 2-door.

@georgeschire Correction:  "Two door sedan."    Hardtops were not offered in 1978.    Nice car though. 😎 😎

@joop Sorry I can't help you find your model, but I cleaned up your picture a little. Grin

@georgeschire Your picture already looks pretty good, but I tried tweaking it a little too.

my first car, bought in 1970. Mazda 1500 designed by Ghia. Fat chance of ever finding a model I'd say.

The car I learned to drive in.  My Mom's 1965 Coupe deVille in Cape Ivory with black [leather] interior.  Stamp had gotten close but not quite there.

Thanks, Chris.  I have seen the Jada. Too crude for me.  That detailed JoHan looks great.  Wish it was Cape Ivory.  The unbuilt kit is way beyond my abilities.  The search goes on.

Yep!  One of the FEW times I sold off a 1/18 model because it just wasn't right.    My goal, years ago, was to make it right  but it was just too far gone  so I offed  it!
