A very nice '55 Plymouth Belvedere I snapped photos of about 20 years ago at a "Back to the 50's" annual car show.

That was a great year for Plymouth styling; quite a leap from '54.  Mind you I guess you could say that for most American marques that year.

Nice car but It think it would look better without the fender skirts.

I've always liked the '55 Plymouth fins better then the larger '56 Plymouth fins.  The '55 was a nicely styled automobile that certainly was in league (in my opinion) with the nice styling of the '55 Chevy's and Ford's.

You are welcome Bob.  A compliment from you is always so appreciated, as I respect you so much.  I like all of our many friends here on the Forum's, but you Sir, are among (in my opinion) the elite of the group.  You are always polite and humble in what you offer.  It is I who THANKS you!

I remember thinking as a teenager that the '55 Plymouth in 2drht. and convertible form had a bit of a European look to its styling.  Not so in '56 though; although I quite liked it as well.
