@perrone1 LOL...no doubt hubby was flush Tony, but I suspect the hole concept may not have exactly been on her bucket list. The issue of her unhappiness is very likely that it came in "boy blue" which is a crappy color for a lady; he needs to paint it pink, which is more Charmin'. then she will give dear hubby a squeeze.
There's that ole Jack we know and love. Hope you're feeling well and progressing Pard!!
@jack-dodds Hey, I don't want to take anything away from Tony but it was my joke (See Shakespeare quote above). Copyright 2026!
Graeme, take a breath buddy and read my post again. It was posted to you, and I was quoting Mr. Shakespeare. Steal one of your copyrighted jokes? Oh my; I'd sooner cover myself in honey and sleep with the ants! I've seen your armaments and know that Christmas is only a couple months away. I have an IQ of 220+, ya think I'm NUTS???
Well of course I think you're nuts, but that wasn't the point. It was our own dear Mr Dodds who approved of the "Midsummer Night Stream" reference as yours, and since I had spent the last 3 and a half years in the public library searching for Shakespearean and Dickensian titles that I could make a joke out of, I felt a little put out. How very petulant of me, I feel quite ashamed.
Incidentally, my next literary research project is to read Winston Churchill's 4-volume "History of the English-Speaking Peoples" in the hope of finding a quote that I can convert into a joke about involuntary flatulence, something I feel would make a unique contribution to English literary and cultural life.

If he hadn't been through so much already, I'd say let's take him out and flog him. But instead, I have a feeling he probably ripped a stitch or two laughing at the fart joke. I know I did!
