...are they  ever happy?    Oh sure, you may experience a few days here & there but there's always something to move, paint, re-arrange, buy, fix, remove, exchange, or do.   And no matter what - it's always your fault!      😫 😣 😌

You're absolutely right! Never happy. But if ten guys traded them in; in a week, they'd all want their original ones back. But would the wimmin want the same?????  Shocked

I couldn't help wondering whether this guy was claiming to be satisfying his wife's desire for an en suite but really had his own convenience in mind - you know, just maybe he happens to suffer from those annoying middle-of-the-night urinary urges that afflict the ageing male members (!) of humankind and often involve groping one's way down a darkened hallway to the toilet and back while half asleep. Then doing it again 2 or 3 hours later. Oh yes, you know the feeling.

@graeme-ogg

Graeme, I wonder how many of us are hunting up their Shakespeare to check that verse?

That Shakespeare; he was a pretty sharp fella. I do like that play of his Graeme - A Midsummer Night Stream.

@perrone1 LOL...no doubt hubby was flush Tony, but I suspect the hole concept may not have exactly been on her bucket list.  The issue of her unhappiness is very likely that it came in "boy blue" which is a crappy color for a lady; he needs to paint it pink, which is more Charmin'. then she will give dear hubby a squeeze.
