to the headlights and gave it a fairly significant chop. Though not the '51 Chevrolet model I would have picked, the non-metallic enamel paint and general shape of the car is pleasing. So, I did some edits, just to see what they look like.
As found:
Cleaned up the background and stripped the ungainly side mirrors as the basis for more change:
Look carefully to appreciate the many changes made in this edit. They include: slimmed and simplified side trim, significant grill work, shaved the bumper and abbreviated the bumper guards, molded the hood to remove the seam, and one-pieced the windshield:
Really liked the way the car looks with less trim and the grill and bumper work but the proportions seemed way off, due to the top chop. So, I removed most of the chop, leaving 1 -1 1/2" of chop:
Here's the final edit incorporating the mild section:
I'm less of a chop fan than many but due enjoy them when done modestly to moderately, rather than significantly. Viewing these edits, I plan to do another edit to the less chopped car that includes a mild section, to see if the proportions improve. If so, I'll share that edit later.
What are your thoughts, and do you like anyone edit better than the others?
Enjoy!
I'll take that very last one with mild sectioning!
