so I've done some edits, from a couple of different views, addressing the bumper, grill and side trim.
As found:
Smoothed the grill, slimmed the front bumper and sidetrim:
Pancaked hood, with slimmed front bumper and side trim:

Like the great 1949-50 Mercury, this one looks great in nearly any form from full stock to custom designs. It is a solid design that handles stock or mods really well.
