Here is a tin automobile toy produced in Japan in likely the 1950's. I am not sure how it ended up in my family but the police car vaguely resembles perhaps a 1949-50 Frazer or something in about 1/43 scale or so. With what appears to be two machines guns on the hood, I would certainly pull over ..... but then again, if those two red headlights turned on, I would probably floor it to get away fast !
Although there are eight pictures of officers on the tin car, there are actually 4 police men (or "G-Men') in the automobile. It appears Laurel and Hardy are sitting in the back although, it also appears Officer Adolf Hitler(s) is sitting in the front seat, yikes !
In any case, it is a cool automobile and undoubtedly would thrill a little (or big) kid.
What a treasure!

It is, John ! And I can imagine how great this one would be for a small (or big) kid.
Interesting! I wonder what G.M. on both sides means.

It actually means "Government Men", which was a term for Federal agents and/or F.B.I. men. but here they seem to be regular policemen. In any case, if they have machine guns on the hood, I think I just pull over !
This really needs to go into one of your vintage photos, Mike.
Lol, yes, Paul ! Perhaps I can set up an "Untouchables" theme with the bad guys trying to get away from this "G-Men" car.
An awesome treasure Mike!
Thanks, Tony ! As long as it is a small tin toy vehicle and I am not actually being chased by that crew in real life, everything is a-oK !
