None. I have no more room. I'm okay with that though.

Zero, Zilch, Nada, not one single model. Like Ed said, no more room and I'm OK with that. The diecast market has been hit hard by inflation, I cringe every time I see the prices for new models or browse through Ebay.
I haven’t added any diecast models since the 1/24th scale was phased out…

No 1/24 or 1/18 scales because of no room. 32 1/43 scale and more 1/64 than I kept up with.
I'm in shock with so many of you continuing to add new models. I've added ONLY TWO, both 1:24 scale '55 Oldsmobile's. That's it! The prices out there absolutely knock my socks off. For all practical purposes I'm out of room to display any more than I already have. Yes, I could re-arrange them and make room, but I like the way my cases look as they are. And I'm only interested in 1:24, so that along with my (self-imposed) model year guidelines, I've got what I want. And I also have the rule that if I have a model it has to be displayed and not sit in a box somewhere. Having them and not displaying them has never made an ounce of sense to me.

@georgeschire George, I completely agree about having models and not displaying them. That becomes a big challenge for me in 1/43 scale as there are so many outstanding models being made in that scale.
@chris Thanks Chris, I’d like to spread them out more but I have very limited space (and money!), so I do the best I can. Years ago I was obsessed with collecting, hundreds of models, every scale, make and model, and manufacturer. Now I stick with 1/24, and only the models I love. It’s much more fun and relaxing now.

I've mentioned in the past about a friend of mine who has a 1:18 scale collection and none of them are displayed. They are stacked up in his basement against a wall. His stacks are probably 10 boxes high and they cover a whole wall, so we're talking hundreds of cars. He's content with them being in their boxes. I'll never understand it.

Wonderful variety, Charles. Not too naughty. I don’t even want to think about how many I have bought. Likely less than usual though.
@david-green Thank-you David. As I think I’ve mentioned before, I’m trying to build a visual history, roughly 1890s to 1970s, U.S. and European. And as long as there are enough to express each decade, I’m done. I am not in the league of some of the serious collectors on these pages, and I’m very happy with my lot this year - I’ve been most fortunate. This reminds me Grand Prix Models and R.M.Toys, I order by telephone so no e-mails. Added nice SMTS Aston and Jaguar during 2024.
