Tight twisties? Probably a Mini Cooper or a Fiat 500 would be a lot of fun.

It definitely wouldn't be an old Ford Explorer.

Actually, we drive a road like that everyday, highway 92 and Devil's Slide are the only way

in to Half Moon Bay aside from driving up the coast highway 1 from Santa Cruz or coming over 84 or just as curvy driving down from highway 35 through La Honda.

All of these roads look like the one you pictured.....That's what helped keep Half Moon Bay rural. We have head-ons every week.....getting in and out is very dangerous.....but, it is a magic place that draws thousands of tourists every weekend.

This is one of the reasons we drive a Volvo V70 turbo wagon and Subaru LLBean 6 cyl Outback (and Miata)........they fare well on curves and give you a fighting chance if hit.....well, maybe not the Miata....you just make sure you don't get hit.

People who live in Half Moon Bay are a hardy bunch.....if you work over the hill....it is like flying a sorte everyday. I love it.
