IRISH FATHER'S FIRST DRINK WITH HIS SON.
I was reading an article last night about fathers and sons, and memories came
flooding back of the time I took my son out for his first drink. Off we went to our local bar, which is only two blocks from the house.
I got him a Guinness Stout. He didn't like it – so I drank it.
Then I got him an Old Style, he didn't like it either, so I drank it.
It was the same with the Coors and the Bud.
By the time we got down to the Irish whiskey,
I could hardly push the stroller back home.
HA HA HA!! The tiny tike was a mite young for the outing.
Seems like yesterday that I and our son, took grandson, Blake, out for his first drink at 21. Cancun Restaurant, obviously a Mexican place, I bought us rounds of Corona, and worked up to Don Julio tequila - his first taste of mescal ever. He was trying out his Spanish with the bartender who happens to be Shirl's and my favorite waiter at the restaurant. I think he had as much fun as we did. We just celebrated his 33rd birthday Saturday. He's in from La Jolla, CA for a few days.
Lol....just wait until Mom sees them arrive home.....yikes!
Don't you just hate when that happens!

@perrone1 That's a great story, Tony.
My grandson turns 5 this month - hope I'm around to take him out for a drink when he turns 21!
