Your photo reminds of his video I saw a few years ago. Too funny!
Yes Marty, that IS a riot! The scary thing, in terms of my age and many others around here, is that it wasn't really THAT long ago that it was new.
And Chris, the funny thing about the phone booth picture is the girl taking a photo of it with her phone!!
I remember tham, of course, with glass sides and a door. They had a rotary dial and then little square key pads. And Superman used them as a changing room.
AND MOST IMPORTANT THEY SMELLED OF PEE!Yes Marty, that IS a riot! The scary thing, in terms of my age and many others around here, is that it wasn't really THAT long ago that it was new.

That's "BC" (Before Chris ) even for me. I don't remember ever being in a phone booth, maybe once? 🤔 🤔 🤔
And I vaguely remember computers like that shown in Marty's video.
The first computer I bought (as an adult ) wasn't cheap, it had a "monochrome" screen (black & green ) but was virtually useless - unless I wanted to make spreadsheets or play games. My second computer was a DELL - just as the internet was catching on. Needless to say, THAT changed my life.
Chris's first post is hilarious, a lot of us remember picking up the rotary dial phone in our parents house to find out they had a "party" line and you got to listen to Mrs. Jones from down the street talking to her sister about her bunions before you could make your call, all because your parents wanted to save a dollar on their phone bill.
LOL! My first "computer" was a Heathkit Radio Shack Computer. I graduated to a Commodore 64, then a Kaypro 2X.

The first computer I ever looked at was in 1976 at Radio Shack. My buddy wanted to go up to Lawrence KS to see if they had the newest computer. To me it looked like a giant calculator.
My first an Atari 800...
