He posted that he was taking some time off for a fun reason - like a dummy, I forget what it was - D'OH!

I seem to remember him saying he and Kelly were big fans of cruise ships and they were going on a cruise from 1 September. Not sure if he will be keeping an eye on us from a distance or just taking a complete break from it all.

Well, I'm sure all these modern cruise ships have satellite wi-fi to let him connect easily enough. But if he has any sense he will just let us stumble along on our own for a while. Then hand out a few bouquets and smack a few wrists if necessary when he gets back.

I have seen some posts from John on Facebook. He and Kelly are taking a vacation for about three weeks. Part of it includes a cruise.

Just glad to know he's OK!

Which reminds me, parts of the Titanic bow were falling apart, as I read in the local paper....

Glad to hear John is okay.  And even happier that folks here on the Lounge and other Forums check on one another.  A month or so back, I too, took a little break from the Diecast Zone and I received an email from John saying that some here had inquired about me.  Seriously, that is awesome!  Most of us have never met or know each other in person, but over the last couple of decades we've become "family" through our mutual love of cars and just everyday conversation.  We are all blessed!
