Which would I desire to drive the most? At 27, the Firebird. At 77? The Merc please.

I do like both.  But the COUGAR back in the day, and still today, has always been keen to my eyes.  I vote COUGAR!

Two great ones.
I always liked both but prefer the Firebird in 67 and still do.  👍😎👍

Tough tough choice so I’ll just agree with Tony. Except I’m 79.

 Going on 80… Shocked

But you look SO good for your age - not a wrinkle, still buff and handsome and as wise as ever! Senior power - Hoo-Ahh!  Laugh

When the '67 Cougar was introduced I briefly considered trading in my '65 Impala SS for one. The Firebird is nice too. I kept the Impala SS until 1970.

I love the Firebird. But, to my eyes, that first-gen always looked a little too "beaky." I vote for the sleek, continental-looking Cougar.

I owned and loved both of these '67 cars but I have always been extremely impressed with the styling (in and out) of the Cougar, so it gets the nod.
