Hi, folks! Kelly and I are packing to leave for Philadelphia. We'll be there through next Monday. In my role as state chaplain for Virginia, I'll be involved in several major events, including delivering the invocation and benediction at the public reading of the Declaration of Independence in Independence Square on July 2, the 250th anniversary of its first public reading. I am deeply honored and humbled to be asked. We'll also be in the 250 America parade, I'll be wearing a colonial regimental outfit for that one, and several commemorative events through the weekend, including an official grave marking for five of the original signers.
So, I will probably be off the grid for a few days. I hope everyone has a wonderful time on this historic Independence Day!

The forum could not have a better person to represent us on this momentous occasion. Best to you and Kelly.
@jkuvakas You do understand that by mentioning you will be wearing a 'colonial regimental outfit' photos of you dressed in this vintage couture will be required upon your return? I think it's in the rule book somewhere...
