Gorgeous and so successful.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
In my opinion, the most iconic Jaguar Race car. The first to win with disc brakes piloted by Stirling Moss. Thanks for featuring this one, John.
Amazing, 73+ years young AND STILL beautiful 🙌
An amazing car and model. Thanks guys for sharing both.💯😎

@geoff-jowett Terrific models Geoff. BRG makes it my favorite.
thanks gents. Having a genuine hand made limited edition model of a brilliant car makes the Historic Replicars model so special. Here's a bit more on Historic Replicars:
1/43 and 1/24 scale white metal, handmade models and kits from England. Owned and Built by the late John Haynes (in the mid-180's to mid-1990's?). Usual runs of 1/24 scale models limited to 250 handmade pieces or less. Most 1/24 pieces were mounted on a smoke colored pexiglass plinth base with number in edition, car make/model on a small metal plate. Some pieces have signatures of the drivers on metal plates on the plinth base. All limited edition models came with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by John Haynes.
A contemporary of John Haynes wrote in the Scale 142 forum, that Ernie Knott who founded Enco Models and was also a restorer of Facel Vega automobiles painted all the 1/24 bodies and John assembled them. After John Haynes passing, the moulds for some or all of his 1/24 model cars were purchased by K&R Replicas and are still available from K&R in kit form.
Here is a list of the Historic Replicars 1/43 scale models.
