Great music that does "get your juices flowing".
A beautifully written song. Clapton cries and wails out his unrequited love for the girl, seems to give up...but then, gently and quietly, adds this coda: Ohhhh no! No way is he quitting...he's not done yet. It dips and soars and builds upon itself and seems to go on forever. His ending expression is more beautiful and flowing than the raw beginning. The beginning is all lust and frustration. But the end is mellow and mature. The man was smitten with Harrison's wife and created something lasting to show his love.

Piano was credited to drummer Jim Gordon, who pass away last march. He reportedly took the melody from (his girlfriend at the time ) Rita Coolidge but did not give her credit.
