It's extra sad when they are young. R.I.P.

@chris My condolences Chris. I always hate hearing of any loss of family or friends.😥
Death is not the end, it is only the end for this body you have lived in.
This body served its purpose and that was to feed the source we are still connected to.
But our energy will be there for ever, in a state too strange for us to understand.
People talk about life after death, well these are all ways of the human mind to make us understand.
Also, there's really no such thing as re-incarnation as we do not come into the flesh again with the memories we had.
We incarnate, yes, but re-incarnate, no.
When people say they have experienced things before or again, they have tapped into the source, where everything that was still is, next to the things from the future.
How to tap into the source ?
Well, meditation is one way, but not sitting on a bench in an ashram in India, no, where you are locked away from all temptations in real life.
Meditation is actually focussing on the thing you are doing and if you practice every day, you get beter and better.
Start with focussing on your daily routines like pouring your first cup of coffee in the morning and really, really tasting it.
By practising every day, you might be able to shut of your monkey-brain for a split second.
And over time that will lead you into a "new" realm, the realm of being and feeling connected.
Connected to the source.
@joop I'm only a few hours into this Joop....but I'm feeling it....!
it's like nirvana but without the music!.........
My condolences to you Chris and Geno. It's so tough to lose family and friends.

@geno Condolences, Geno. That's way too young. I lost my only sibling when he was 60. Also a heavy smoker, from his teens. He had an awful death. @#%&ing cigarettes.
"@#%&ing cigarettes."
Exactly, both my Grandmother's died of lung cancer. One smoked, one didn't. My grandma that didn't smoke, the doctors said it was caused from all the second hand smoke from family members over the years. Like you said, I watched them agonize at the end.😥
My Dad passed at 54 from a sudden massive heart attack. He had emphysema and was a lifelong smoker. To this day I'll never forget that phone call and how I raced to the hospital to spend the last few hours with him. RIP Dad 🙏 1987
I'm so glad that he and I spent hours on the boat. I really don't like fishing but he did so he'd fish and smoke and I'd have a couple of beers. I've got some great stories that people just don't believe. I feel extra lucky because I had two younger brothers but they were always to busy working to go out with him.I never refused and always looked forward to those invites.
My youngest sister had picked up smoking at an early age but she quit in 2002 when she became pregnant. Other than that I've never smoked and neither have my brothers or my other sister and my Mom never smoked. She's alive and kicking at 92.
My friends don't smoke either I'm glad to say 👍 Quite a few of my relatives in New York are / were smokers and have sadly passed.
@100ford2003 Cherished memories Steve, I miss my pops every day. After seeing what my Grandmothers went through, it left a massive impression on me, that alone kept me from picking up the habit, thank God. Plus it's an expensive habit nowadays. And, it leaves me more money for my hobbies. And better health to boot.😁
