Fun to watch a thorough restoration job in progress. it's just a shame that I'd much rather have the the unrestored version! It looks like a real junkyard find, and the repaint (although very skillfully done) makes it look way too plasticky and toy-like by comparison, and for a model of that scale I thought the detailing was actually pretty sparse.
I did like the suspension and steering and the hood/bonnet hinges, though.

Very interesting! There were a ton of steps that were omitted in this video to get to the finished product, but the general idea of applying the basics is made. Very steady hand and a good rememberer to fit all of those parts back in where they belong. I've heard of Liquid Chrome, but this is the first time I've seen it applied.
